Aloe Vera

The base of our products

What actually is aloe vera?

The aloe vera plant belongs to the lily family. Originally from the desert regions of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, it is also found in the tropical and subtropical regions of our planet - the Caribbean, Mexico, India and the Mediterranean. Due to its origin, it is also known as the "desert lily".

The ancient Egyptians honored aloe vera as the "plant of immortality". Cleopatra used the healing properties of the plant to emphasize its beauty. Today, aloe vera is still one of the most commonly used plants.

It has more than 160 proven vital substances, such as amino acids, fatty acids, enzymes, minerals and vitamins.

Our body benefits from the healing properties of these ingredients in several places, because they have a cleansing, immune-boosting and regenerating effect.

Aloe vera is valued in medicine and skin care, particularly because of its wound-healing and anti-inflammatory effects, as well as its supportive and detoxifying effect on the entire digestive system.

Due to its origin, aloe vera needs little water because it stores it in its thick green leaves. That is why it is also a particularly popular houseplant in this country because it is easy to care for.

The active ingredient aloe vera is largely the base of our products and from controlled organic farming.

A closer look at the ingredients of aloe vera reveals:

  • It is full of vitamins, especially A, B, C and E. The latter is a particularly important vitamin for cell renewal in the skin.

  • The enzymes it contains have been proven to have a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect, as does the salicylic acid it contains.

  • The main active ingredient in aloe vera, acemannan, is a sugar molecule that strengthens the cell membrane and makes it more resistant to bacteria and viruses.

Aloe Vera effect in skin care

Aloe Vera is a real miracle cure for the skin. To avoid noticeable scars, aloe vera also supports wound healing.
In addition, aloe vera can even be used for serious skin diseases such as neurodermatitis, acne, hives and shingles  Their anti-inflammatory properties help with healing and also provide the skin with ingredients so well that the disease can be alleviated as it progresses.

Aloe Vera against dry skin, wrinkles and cellulite!

Does your skin sometimes feel stressed or too dry?

Then aloe vera products can also help. In addition, the gel of the plant has a wrinkle-reducing effect by promoting the healing process of damaged skin cells. Your renewal process is increased six to eight times by applying the cream. The skin is firmer due to this faster regeneration and looks younger and smoother.

The secondary plant substances contained in aloe vera also protect the skin from free radicals. These attack the cells, stress your skin and make it less resistant.

The aloe vera gel has an antioxidant effect and thus protects against these free radicals. The skin is less stressed and reacts less strongly to external and internal influences, such as sun, cold, stress or unhealthy ingredients in the nourishment.

It is important that the aloe vera plant contains a certain sugar-like active ingredient, the so-called "acemannan". Because this is like a kind of kit between your skin cells and holds them together. As a result, less fat or water can be stored in the gaps - cellulite doesn't stand a chance!

What should I look out for when buying?

When buying a cream that contains aloe vera, you should definitely pay attention to organic quality. In this way you prevent preservatives or chemical additives from being included.

Aloe vera has a particularly good effect on your health and beauty when it is contained in its pure form. In addition, organic products are of course much kinder to the environment and thus have an additional positive side effect.
